Urban Enviroment Week 8

Very motivated this week I did drawings in pencil, charcoal,chalk pastel. I had read about a canadian illustrator using woodblock to burn images on. So I decied to try this technique I created to boards. I also did 4 mono prints. They did not come out as good as I hoped. I do not think that print is for me so it would be pointless to continue working in print. Next week I hope to created a mold of my vegatable that I cast. Made notes in my sketchbook and printed out photos.I have made several investigative photos of this vegatable.

Urban Enviroment Week 7

This had my results of my review. Very disappointed with it now I need to focus my attention fully on investigating my the vegetable.I need to improve my drawings and investigative studies using different mediums.

Urban enviroment week 6

This week was reviews with Des and Elaine. Told I should made a series of drawings of my chinese bitter melon. I did experiment with differnt mediums in drawing the chinese bitter melon. The chalks and oil pastels do not work for me. I am better with pen and pencil. After my review I am starting to approach my subject matter in a new light. I have taken more photos and become more analytical.
